Blinds To Go is expanding our Technology team and there has never been a more exciting time to join our organization!

We have created a new position for a Help Desk Support Analyst - Level 1. This individual will provide day-to-day technical support to employees for network infrastructure and internal computer systems software and hardware related issues. This role will also help to install, configure and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, tablets and phones, as well as, maintain passwords, data integrity and file system security for the desktop environment.

This is a full-time position that will be based in our Paramus, New Jersey office.


RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:

  • Work with end-users to determine needs
  • Respond to queries over the phone and/or in-person
  • Troubleshoot and perform PC and peripheral repairs
  • Process, respond, and document incident tickets
  • Perform troubleshooting on computers, printers, handheld scanners, and tablets
  • Perform software installation and troubleshooting
  • Determine if issue needs to be escalated and route to appropriate team member
  • Assist setting up A/V equipment for teleconferences
  • Participate in team projects, improvements, and initiatives

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A+ Certification preferred
  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in a corporate setting
  • Ability to communicate highly technical information to both technical and non-technical personnel
  • Previous experience working with both PC and MAC platforms
  • Excellent follow up and communication skills (both written and oral)
  • Ability to juggle several projects simultaneously
  • Customer service oriented
  • Ability to work independently, as well as, part of a team
