Production Manager

We are looking for an ambitious and self-motivated individual who will become a key member of the Blinds To Go manufacturing leadership team. This hands-on role will be responsible for coaching, cross-training, and developing team members while helping drive quality and operational improvements to help achieve company targets and goals. This position will be based out of our Lakewood, New Jersey facility.

RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES:
  • Schedule and plan workforce to accomplish manufacturing and production time lines
  • Train, coach, and develop team members
  • Ensure production output, product quality and on-time shipping
  • Identify areas of inefficiency or waste and take corrective action
  • Follow, implement, and enforce company policies and processes
  • Establish clear goals that align with the organization's vision
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 5-15 years of experience working in a manufacturing, production, or operations management role
  • Proven track record achieving results through people in a manufacturing environment
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Operations or the like
  • Possess strong team building, decision-making, and people management skills
  • Possess the ability to lead, work independently, as well as part of a team
  • Possess good communication skills (both written and verbal)
