Window Shades

Window shades provide privacy, light control, and a soft, finished look for your space. Depending on the material and opacity selected, shades can gently filter natural light, reduce glare, darken a room, or improve insulation. They are also available in a wide variety of styles, colors, patterns, and operating options.

Blinds To Go offers cellular, roller, solar, Roman, woven wood, sheer, and cascade or zebra shades. Each style provides different benefits, from the energy efficiency of cellular shades and the glare reduction of solar shades to the decorative folds of Roman shades and the flexible light control of zebra shades.

Yes. Blinds To Go window shades are covered by our lifetime warranty on mechanisms, giving you added peace of mind for the moving components of your custom shades.

The process can take anywhere from one to several weeks, depending on the type and number of shades ordered, the level of customization, and the installation requirements. During your consultation, our design experts can provide a more specific estimated timeline for your project.

The level of light control and privacy depends on the shade style, fabric, and opacity selected. Light-filtering shades soften natural light while providing daytime privacy, while room-darkening and blackout materials offer greater light reduction and privacy. Solar and sheer shades can reduce glare and preserve more of the outside view, but may provide less privacy at night.

Our custom shades are available in a wide selection of colors, fabrics, textures, patterns, and opacity levels from solar shades with 1% to 10% openness to total blackout options. Depending on the shade style, you can choose cordless or chain operation, as well as motorization controlled by a remote, wand, or compatible smart home system. Both wired and rechargeable battery-powered motorization options are available.

Top-down/bottom-up operation is available for select Roman and cellular shades. Cellular shades are also available with a day-and-night option that combines light-filtering and blackout materials in one shade.
